Size: Shrub up to 15 ft.

Planting: Extremely tolerant, Full sun to full shade, can tolerate wet conditions. 

Fruit: Dark bluish-black fruit approx 0.75cm.

Pollination: Self pollinating.

Use: Ok for jams and preserves.  

Ripening: August to September and will persist on tree for winter. 

Pot: 1 gal. 

A beautiful and underutilized native plant, large clusters of flowers, red fall foliage, and small edible berries that persist overwinter.
