Haskap - Borealis

Hardiness: Zone 2.

Full Size: Bush up to 4ft.

Planting: Highly durable, best in good soil, but can tolerate shade and wet soils. Shallow roots that don't compete well with grasses/weeds and other plants. 

Fruit: Blue oval shaped berries, approx 1.5g.

Pollination: Not-self pollinating, plant with Aurora, Boreal Blizzard or honeybee.

Use: Excellent fresh eating.

Ripening: Late June, but hold well on the plant.

Pot: 1 gal

Rounded large leaves that help hide the fruit and give it more eye appeal. A desirable variety and one of the best tasting of the 2007 releases.
