Currant Bush - Black - Wild

Hardiness: Zone 2.

Size: Bush 3ft.

Planting: Prefers partial shade and clay soil.

Fruit: Black small berries.

Pollination: Self pollinating, no companion needed. 

Use: Excellent for jellies and preserves. 

Ripening: Mid summer, July to August. 

Pot: Bare rooted

These are wild currants removed from there natural forest environment. They produce much smaller and less berries that the cultivated varieties.
