European Mountain Ash Tree

Size: Tree up to 25 ft.

Planting: Full sun, good soil. 

Fruit: Clusters of small orange-red fruit.

Pollination: Self fertile.

Use: Ok for jams or preserves, but generally undesirable fruit. 

Ripening: Fruit persist over winter.

This is purely ornamental tree. It attracts birds heavily and the small fruit is generally undesirable for eating. Fruit persists overwinter and great winter food source for birds.
